(upbeat music) – [Tiffany] Good morning.
– Morning. – [Tiffany] Happy hump–
– Hump day. (groans)
(Tiffany groans) (Baby growls)
– [Tiffany] What? What? What? What?
(Baby growls) Have a good day. – Okay.
– [Tiffany] Okay. – Good morning, guys.
Welcome to the vlog. It’s Wednesday, it’s hump day! Tiff and the kids
are out for the day. Well, Tiff’s at the gym,
she’ll be back later. Just got done editing the vlog,
got that uploaded and scheduled. Making myself some leftovers
from last night for breakfast. Gonna head
upstairs do my stream. I think we’re gonna go
Christmas tree shopping. A lot of you
guys have been asking, “When you doing
Christmas tree shopping?” I think today’s the day. I think, the last like four or
five years we’ve been doing real trees, live trees and the
problem with those things are they’re very finicky. If you
don’t water it just right, if you miss a day watering,
it goes without watering, it stops sucking up water
and the tree starts to die. We are 20 days
away from Christmas. Normally we like to get
our tree a week and a half, maybe two weeks tops before
Christmas just ’cause you want to make sure it’s nice and green and smells nice
for Christmas Day. And of course, we like
to keep it all the way to New Year’s if possible. So that’s like
another week after, right? I think we decided to go with
a artificial tree this year. We started with an
artificial tree when we first moved into our house. We switched to a real tree. I think we’re going
back to an artificial tree. We need a much bigger tree
and so we’re gonna go with an 8 footer and we’re
gonna put it right here. I like this spot here. I like this spot but
I think Tiffany wants it against that wall there. So, 8 foot tree,
pre-lit if possible. So it’s gonna kind of pricy but
it’s a one-time buy, right? Every year we
buy a $40, $50 tree. I think last year we bought an
$80 tree ’cause just where we ended up buying it from. Spend the money
now and it lasts five, six, seven years.
I think we’ll be good. I think that’s
what we’re doing today. Christmas tree
shopping so stay tuned. – [Tiffany] Oh, did you find it? Is that the one you wanted? She got all these toys out and that’s the
one you wanted, huh? (toy squeaks) Baby, you’re
just like a toddler. Let’s count your toys. You have one, two, three, four. Yeah, they’re everywhere. Five, six, seven, eight. Eight toys out, girl. You gonna clean
up after yourself? (Baby growls) Oh, two more.
Nine, ten. Any more? You hidin’ any more? (laughs, mimic barking) – [Clintus] Tiffany just got
back from the store and Bryce just got back from school and he’s raiding it
looking for a snack. He’s got the munchies. What’d Mom get?
Anything good? Some Belvita bites?
Those are good. – [Bryce] These she already had.
She got a different flavor. – [Clintus] Anything good?
Anything else, anything else? I want something else. – [Bryce] Trying
to find a new flavor. – Alright, it’s that time. We’re on our way. On the hunt for
a Christmas tree. As I said earlier we’re
going with artificial this year. So we’ve got three stops in
mind that we’re gonna go to. Hopefully we find the one. So we got ones like
this that are pre-lit. Actually most
of ’em are pre-lit. Nowadays I don’t think
very few come with lights, these all have lights. Only one that
doesn’t is that one? – [Bryce] Over here. – [Clintus] Yeah,
all these have lights. I think the silver ones
is the only one that doesn’t. Oh, that one doesn’t. Yeah, most of ’em do. Yeah, that one does. It’s got ’em on,
they’re just not lit. – [Bryce] Oh. – [Clintus] Think they all
come with lights now. It’s just a matter
of finding the size. And we decided
on what, 8 footer? That’s what we’re looking for? – [Tiffany] We
want pre-lit, right? – [Clintus] Pre-lit, yes.
– [Bryce] ‘Cause it’s 11 feet. – It’s easier you
don’t have to wrap– – [Clintus] Absolutely.
– Not enough time in the day. – [Clintus] Yeah,
not enough time. Boy’s got practice. – Wait, are we gonna hang it up?
(Clintus hums unsure) – Stop number two.
Just around the corner. – I’m on a mission. We
only have so much time. – I know, you’re in a hurry.
– Eat dinner. – I know, I’m hungry.
– Practice. In and out.
– In and out? – Indecision. – In-n-Out? We’re having
In-n-Out burger for dinner? – No!
– Oh! You hear that? She said it, she said it.
– Crock Pot’s going. – Yeah, Crock
Pot’s going, I know. Something spicy,
I smell spicy sausage. Mmm-mmm. Alright, here we go. Alright, here we go. Selection. I’m actually,
feel like there’s less. These are the last ones, yeah. Aspen Fern. Feel like the selection’s
a lot less than I remember. This is like the speed round. We’re in, five minutes
or less, we’re out. On to the third
location, Hobby Lobby. And I’m thinkin’ they have a
better selection than both of those places combined. Ta-da. That one’s spinning,
look at that one. – [Tiffany] That’s kinda cool. – [Clintus] Ooh,
there’s a big one. Pinecones!
There’s like pinecones. – [Sierra] This tree’s sold out.
– [Clintus] Hmmm. That one’s got
cranberries on it. Mulberries?
What’s that called? – [Sierra] Pinecones.
– [Clintus] No, the red one. (laughs) The Tiffany Pine. I like this one with
pinecones, that’s really cool. – [Tiffany] Um, no.
I think I’ll pass. – [Clintus] Yeah, no.
Yeah, it’s too big, yeah, yeah. It wouldn’t fit in our house. This one’s cool with the
snow and the cranberries and the pinecones. – [Sierra] It’s
too small though. – [Clintus] Yeah. Frasier Fir. Hmmm. – [Sierra] We
could get this one. – [Clintus] There’s your
Charlie Brown tree, right there. – [Bryce] What about this one?
– [Clintus] It’s too big, yeah. – [Bryce] How tall is it?
– [Clintus] 9, it’s 9. – [Tiffany] It’s exactly,
our roof goes to that. – [Clintus] Yeah, we wouldn’t
be able to put a topper on it. Alright, so I like these two
but neither on of them fit. – [Tiffany] I like
this one a lot. – [Clintus] This one’s awesome.
– [Tiffany] It’s $800. – [Clintus] It’s $800 but
it’s too tall so doesn’t matter. This one’s awesome
but it’s too small. It’s too skinny.
That’s for like an apartment. No, I know, it’s done.
I like it a lot. Yeah. We got a lot of space.
We need a good, wide tree. Alright, back at Home Depot. Our final destination. This has got our Christmas tree. – It’s guaranteed three years
so we get three years out of it. – [Clintus] Guaranteed.
– Right? – [Clintus] Alright,
this is the one. Not the one but… Oh, you see that you can
shape that however you want. It’s a box tree. We’ll find out. – Okay, so we just got
back home and we noticed that Shelley hasn’t
eaten all day today. – Her lettuce is
just sittin’ there. – So we took the lettuce out
and we’re gonna have some fresh broccoli, or I have
fresh broccoli that I’m m gonna steam for dinner. But I pulled some out and
she’s eating fresh broccoli. Now we know she likes broccoli. – [Sierra] Food’s over there. I was just trying to like put it
in front of her and feed it and she started eating it. – [Tiffany] She’s like hmm,
I don’t know if I like it. – [Sierra] No, she did. I just think she
accidentally ate a wood chip. – [Tiffany] Oh no. – [Sierra] Here, let’s… ‘Cause I don’t want you
to keep eating wood chips. – [Tiffany] That’s true,
yeah, let’s put her on her bowl. – [Sierra] That’s why you’re
supposed to have a feed bowl. I was just trying to feed
her to see if she wanted it. Come get it.
Come get it. – [Tiffany] There you go.
She’s hungry. – [Sierra] No? Come on, eat it. You didn’t eat anything all day. She likes broccoli. – [Bryce] You should
give her broccoli tomorrow. Not lettuce, she
might not want that again. – [Sierra] Or maybe tomorrow
we give her some bananas. – [Clintus] Dinner, dinner time. We got some pasta.
– Dinner, dinner. – [Clintus] Some garlic knots. Some Parmesan cheese. Or is that Mozzarella?
Must investigate. – [Bryce] Mozzarella, Parmesan. – Oh no, that’s Parmesan, son. That’s Parmesan.
That’s fresh Parmesan. That’s the good stuff.
You don’t want that one. I’ll take that one. Just put my pasta
right there, in there. So there’s our Christmas tree. We don’t have time
to set it up tonight. The plan is to set it up on
Friday because tomorrow Tiff and I have our end of the year tax
review call with our accountants and then
Sierra’s got volleyball, so Friday is the day. And we’ll probably do some
dinner and then we’ll set up the tree and decorate and
do all that good stuff. – [Tiffany] Editing? Taking a little
break for some dessert? – Mhmmm. – [Tiffany] Cake bites left.
– Yeah. – [Coach] Let’s go. Go! (basketballs bouncing) – [Clintus] Oh, got burned. Why? Alright guys, I’m
gonna call it a night. Thanks so much for watching. We’ll see you guys tomorrow. Thursday, one
more day ’til Friday. Vlog on. (upbeat music)
