This may look like another Halloween
party, but it’s Servco Pacific throwing down the fun once again at their annual
Team Servco Celebration. Well, every company has what’s called a Core Competence and we like to think it’s throwing parties, so we try to do it
really well and have fun in the process. It’s the least we can do to say thank
you to a really great team of people we work with. We see each other in the office all the time, so it’s really nice to sort of let your hair down. Just a great opportunity to get
everybody together and have a really good time with a great bunch of folks.
The night filled with food, drinks, prizes, and fun, and even a little 24-karat magic in
the air. A costume contest had employees showing out in their best Halloween
ensembles and 11 distinguished employees, like Kevin Shimabukuro, were welcomed
into the Quarter Century Club. What is it that has kept you here for 25
years? Friends. It just feels like home. That’s all it is. It feels like home from
the managers to the CEO’s like Mark, they make me feel like I’m part of Servco and part of the company. I love it. A sentiment that appears to be
across the board. And all of it originating in the name of service.
It’s how the company got started. My grandfather picked it as a name. The
first name for the company, which was Service Motors. That turned into Servco
Pacific, but it’s always been about service. In delivering that service we like to
have a good time together and support each other and do what we need to do to
go the extra mile.
