Ballinger Family Christmas Eve PARTY!!!

Ballinger Family Christmas Eve PARTY!!!

♫ And it’s time to celebrate – [Children] It’s Christmas morning. It’s Christmas morning. It’s Christmas morning and it’s time to celebrate. Christmas morning! And presents! – Merry Christmas everyone. – Merry Christmas! – I wanna be in the back, woo! (children yelling) – It is Christmas Eve for us, it is Christmas Day for
you, Merry Christmas. We’re happy that you’re
choosing to spend some time with us on this holiday. – Yay! – This is the meringue
portion of a pavlova. Jessica makes this every year. This one, we made last night. And we decided that this year, we’ve got to make a lot more. Because last year it went
away in like three seconds. The pavlova is going way too quickly, Jessica is gonna have
to make me another one. So this year we’re gonna
actually make two more through the course of today. And we also made a cheesecake yesterday, we’re making the top-notch
desserts for this party. You guys gonna help me
out with the pavlova? – [Children] Yeah! – Parker, did you have
any pavlova last year? – No. – No? Did you have, Bailey? Was it good? Did you have some Jake? – I had the whole barrel. – You had a whole barrel? – [Jake] Me too! – Is that where all the pavlova went? You guys took the two
barrels worth that we made? – [Jake] Yes. – Did you take a barrel? – Thank you for doing the prep
work while I did my makeup. – No problem. You look so nice, look at us! Look at us as a couple. We’re like Christmas. We are Christmas-ey. Look at this, look at this. With our baby bumps. – [Jessica] And then I’ll
show you what folding is. See, you’re not mixing. You’re just kinda letting
it get into the recipe without breaking any of the air bubbles that are in the eggs. Good job, baby. And we’re gonna basically
scrape the whole meringue onto our circle. (upbeat music) – Today is the last day of
Advent for the kids and Jessica, but I still got one more day. I got a Christmas Day one in
my calendar for some reason. – Oh my goodness, I can’t
believe it’s the last day. – I’m excited for it being the last day because tomorrow we get more presents than just one Advent calendar. – That’s true, that’s a really good point. – [Christopher] Yesterday,
Parker built the sled and put his little doggy on
it that he got the day before. And now he’s gonna open number 24, let’s see it dude! – It’s a — it’s a Santa Claus. – [Christopher] It’s Santa Claus? Are you gonna build him? – Yeah. – [Christopher] Alright. Two days ago, Bailey built this table. And yesterday, she built
this snowman right here, which is adorable, I
love his little scarf. – [Bailey] It’s a polar bear pool. – Our set has been like
totally reasonable. Like a hamster and a fireplace, normal household — silverware. And now a polar bear, obviously. We never showed the finished
product of this thing. So this is what he built two days ago and then he built this yesterday. It’s like a sled. – [Jake] Oh! – [Christopher] What is it? – I got Chewy! – [Christopher] An arctic Chewy? – Yeah! – [Christopher] Time for some tea. Okay, what’s tea number 24? Orange white tea? – Well, I don’t think
it’s white because — It smells — it’s nice. – Eggnog black tea. – Eggnog black tea? – It says eggnog black tea. – Are you kidding me? This is my dream! I was like, how are they gonna make it really cool for Christmas? Oh, eggnog tea. Just like everything that’s me and I couldn’t even figure out what — I was like, it smells nice. This one had me the most stumped. And it’s also the one
I’m most excited to try. And I also have to wait
because definitely caffeine. – As always, we will be giving away what is in door number 24 today. And we have door number 25
to look forward to tomorrow. – [Jessica] Oh my goodness. – [Jake] Winnie the Pooh. – [Children] Winnie the Pooh! – [Christopher] How did you guess? Did you look? – On with Santa. – Did you sneak a look? No, you just guessed
because Eeyore and Piglet? – Yeah. – What do you think of that? So we are gonna give away
this Winnie the Pooh, he’s wearing a Santa costume. Look at his little belt. He’s adorable. – Christopher, I gotta say, what could the last one possibly be? – I don’t know because we’ve
already done Mickey Mouse. – That’s the thing, I can’t believe we’ve already done Mickey. And now this is a Winnie
the Pooh in a Santa costume. – What is 25 gonna be? – I want you guys to guess. I wanna see what you think it is because I’m totally stumped. – I bet it’s Kanga in a Mrs. Claus outfit. – Okay, Bailey thinks it’s Kanga. What does Parker think? – Roo. I really like Roo, I really
like Roo, he’s so small. – Probably Buzz Lightyear. – Okay, I have one guess. Something just occurred to me that maybe it’s the Nightmare
Before Christmas guy. – Okay, I know exactly who it’s gonna be. – [Jessica] What? – I will guess right now. – [Jessica] Did you cheat? – It is — no, no. But I know — I know
about Tsum Tsums and — – (Laughing) How do you
know about Tsum Tsums? – Well, okay, after spending some time at the Aulani, I think
it’s that teddy bear. That Mickey’s teddy bear. – Oh, Duffy? – Duffy, yeah. I think it’s that guy. So put your guess in the
comment section down below and we’ll see you
tomorrow if you’re right. This is Bailey’s final build. This is Jacob’s final build. And this is Parker’s final build. Good job guys. One of the other traditions
we have in our family is we give a gift on Christmas Eve morning to the whole family. Let’s see, let’s see. – [Kid] That one! – [Christopher] This one right here. (singing) – Present. (ripping wrapping paper) – [Bailey] Oh, it’s a
Wentworth wooden puzzle! (children yelling) – Every year we get the family
a Wentworth wooden puzzle, which has like these awesome wooden pieces that are very whimsical. And it’s Christmas themed. And we are going to have it
set out for the Christmas party so people can try and put it together. And these puzzles are super fun, I’m really excited about it. – We also have other Christmas puzzles that are Wentworth, that
are from the last few years that we will put out too. – [Christopher] Oh we’re
gonna put out all the puzzles? Are we gonna mix all the pieces and make it real challenging? – No. – So the pieces are cut
in these cool shapes. There’s a Santa, what else we got? Snowman, a wreath, there’s all
these strange little pieces and they’re all made of wood
so they’re really durable. And we’re gonna build this puzzle. – [Jessica] Oh, look at this guy! – [Christopher] Oh what
do we got, what do we got? – [Jessica] A reindeer. The big reason that we
do this family present on Christmas Eve morning is because we want it out during our Christmas party because people really enjoy it and it’s a tradition to bring out, like a new one every year. And they’re just really special to us. You know who likes these puzzles a lot? Is Rachel Malenger. Because she comes every
Christmas Eve to our party and like basically is in the
puzzle zone the whole time. – I feel like the first time she came, she was like, what? You guys put out a puzzle, come on. And then she kinda like,
gradually crept over and put a piece in,
and then another piece, and another piece. And then she was just
totally absorbed by it. – Look at this puzzle stance
that Parker has got going on. Get on this angle. – [Christopher] You puzzling Parker? – By the way, these
puzzles are really hard because I’ve always been taught to start, like doing the border first. And these ones aren’t very clear. Like some of them look like edges, but sometimes they don’t
and it’s really hard. They’re hard puzzles. They’re not like hard where you’re like, I don’t even wanna do this. Like puzzles that are all white. I don’t want to do a
puzzle that’s all white. This puzzle I wanna do. – This is definitely the fastest we’ve ever put one of these
together out of the box because we’re already done. All these kids are so good at puzzles now. Like at one point, everybody’s
hands we’re in there. Like you couldn’t even see the puzzle, you just saw hands like putting pieces in. It was crazy. – Fervor. – I put the last piece on. – You did? That’s so special. So this is the puzzle, it’s all together. We’re gonna take it apart
before the party tonight so everybody gets a
chance to play with it. The kids are singing at the
the Christmas Eve service. You excited Parker? Gonna watch them sing? Are you gonna sing along? Yes, you know all the words. Will you sit next to me during the show? (Jessica laughs) Katherine? Katherine is over there, uh oh. – Yeah, she got her finger
got slammed in the door. – [Christopher] Oh no! Is she okay? Are you gonna take care of her? – I think so. – [Christopher] You think so, okay. ♫ The first noel ♫ The angels did say ♫ Was to certain poor shepherds ♫ In fields as they lay ♫ Hail, the heaven-born Prince of Peace ♫ Hail, the Son of Righteousness ♫ Light and life to all he bring ♫ Risen with healing in his wings – The Christmas service was great. These kids did fantastic,
great job Bailey. Good job Jacob. – I have the coughs. – You have the coughs? (Jacob coughs) – Uh oh. There’s less than an hour
left before the party starts. And yeah, we’re doing some
shopping for the party. – Well, I just decided right now, I wanna make some other things too. (We Wish You a Merry Christmas playing) – Parker is getting all
the germs off the cart. (We Wish You a Merry Christmas playing) – The party has begun, people
have started showing up. We’ve got the pavlova out. We got the cheesecake out. We got olives, which mom just
discovered are super spicy. So sorry about that mom. Rachel is here. – Hey, I’m here. You’re festive man. – I am festive. – I saw this at Macy’s and
almost got it for someone. I don’t know who, I just
thought it needed to be had. – It was a toss-up between
this one and the blue one. – Yeah, I like this one. – Yeah, it’s a good one. And mom’s here. Dad’s here, he’s rooting for the Dodger’s. – That’s right. – [Christopher] Represent, there it is. Jacob is already starting
to eat the Pavlova. Trent is here sporting the
Super Mario, looking good. – Thank you. – [Christopher] A video,
audio recorder — a dash cam? A dash cam pro? – [Jessica] Wow, Bailey. – [Christopher] That’s cool. – [Sandy] Oh that is cool guys. You know what this is? This is freaking awesome. I saw this the other day,
I kept playing with it. The track moves like a snake. You can like move it around
and the car goes on the track and you can like make the
track move like a snake and the car will still keep going on it and it glows in the dark. And it’s the coolest thing. I saw it at the toy store the other day. – [Woman] You did, we saw it together. – [Jessica] Wow, very cool grandpa. Woah, macadamia nuts. – I love macadamia nuts! – Thought it might remind
you of your recent vacation. – Can you get me a bowl please? (group laughs) – That’s me! Oh my goodness, I’m so excited. Oh my gosh, I love pictures because they remind me of cool things that happen in your life. Remember when they did that? – [Woman] Yes! – That’s so crazy, sorry. – What was that? – When I was at a hotel and they made, like a whole cake of treats for me out of, like Miranda clothes and random book. – [Jessica] Who is this giant present for? – [Child] Auntie Sandy. – [Christopher] This is for you. – [Sandy] This is for me? Holy smokes! Guys, this present is too big
for me to do it by myself. (laughing) – [Child] It’s a box! – [Sandy] A box? (children yelling) Oh it’s a director’s chair! Oh cool! – [Christopher] So it’s
for your backing — – A place where I can
actually have a thing to put my thing in,
that’s such a good idea. Thank you. It’s just like sitting on my — in my — – [Christopher] I know. So hopefully it goes with the house. – [Bailey] Grandma Julie! – Oh my god, I don’t care if
it doesn’t go with my house, it’s going in my house. It does go with my house. – A yellow blanket! – [Jessica] Oh my goodness! – I love yellow! I’m gonna keep it the whole day. – Is it soft? (children yelling) – [Woman] Someone needs to
get some big hugs right now. Oh my gosh. (children yelling) – That’s the Lego set that she wanted. – You painted this? Oh my gosh, that’s me. – [Jessica] And guess what you’re doing? – I’m doing — oh, it’s a microphone. – [Jessica] Guess what all that red is? – You’re lipstick. – That’s all my lipstick? – She pretended you put
lipstick all over the stage. – Oh my gosh, that’s so
funny, that’s so silly. I love this. You gonna put it in your room? – That’s your hair. – That’s my hair? Those are my eyes, and my
lipstick, and my legs, my cross? – Yeah. – And that’s the microphone. – I love it. This is the best. Where’s it gonna go? – This is the best Christmas party ever. – In the room. – I get to keep this,
or you can keep this? – You can keep it. – I get to keep this? – What is it? It’s a Duplo set! With a train! I like it! Thank you Grandma Julie! – [Grandma Julie] You’re welcome. – Where is he? Somebody saw Santa Claus, we’re looking for Santa Claus. Where, where? Did you see Santa Claus? – No. – Okay, keep looking. Hopefully we’ll see him. There he is, he’s coming. So that dot right there, you can’t see it on the camera, but it’s Santa Claus. Trying to focus for you guys. – (Children yelling) There he is! Santa! – [Christopher] Go Santa go! (group yelling) – Oh, that’s Santa Claus. He’s flying past us. There he goes! Parker, tell me all about Santa Claus. Did you see him? – Yeah, I saw him. It was actually a Santa Claus helicopter. – It was a Santa Claus helicopter? That’s still pretty cool. (child laughing) – [Woman] I can’t believe
you saw it for real! You really saw it? – No, it was a helicopter. – [Woman] I know, but
you saw the helicopter. – All the guests have left, we got to — I’ve got to change. We got to put the kids to bed. We gotta clean this
room, put out presents. Clean this room. And I have to edit this vlog. That’s what’s gotta happen tonight because tomorrow is Christmas. (upbeat music) I have never set up a drum set before so that was a learning experience for me. It was based all on watching
other bands and guessing. So if this isn’t set up right, maybe tell me in the comment section? Let’s take a look at the winner board. It looks like Neonlight Girl won Piglet and Rebecca Montgomery won Eeyore. Congratulations, you two. Today, up for grabs is
this adorable little Winnie the Pooh dressed as Santa Claus. All you have to do to win this is be subscribed to our channel and write something down
in the comment section of this video. Be sure to leave social media handle like your Twitter name
or something like that so that we can direct message
you if we draw your name for Winnie the Pooh. Hi, let’s talk about
what we learned today. We learned that sometimes
Jessica and I like to get all dressed up fancy like to show off our baby bumps. We learned that it’s important that during this cold, winter season, to protect yourself from germs by wiping off your shopping cart. The whole entire shopping cart. And finally, and probably
most importantly, it’s important to remember that Christmas miracles can happen, it’s just sometimes it takes a helicopter to tow them across the sky. Thanks for watching everybody. We’ll see you next time. (baby giggling) (upbeat accordion music playing)
