Black Friday PC Hardware Deals, Tesla Super Cars, Thanksgiving! — Weekly Download #71

Hey Welcome to Zach’s Tech Turf and Weekly
Download episode number 71, which is my tech and PC gaming news series. First off, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you
out there. If you’re watching this episode go live
on Thanksgiving day just know that I’m incredibly thankful for you using your precious time
to watch my content. Make sure you check out Monday’s video if
you haven’t already where I go over the best Black Friday tech deals that are ready
to be snagged up. Anyways, today I’m gonna be playing some
XXXX while I give you this news and I got myself a red gatorade for today’s episode. Make sure you guys let me know in the comment
section what you’re sippin’ on, let’s get into it. To start off the news this week, we obviously
have got to talk about these Black Friday deals. Once again make sure you check out my dedicated
video this year’s Black Friday sale, there are a ton of great deals here. With graphics card prices finally starting
to wind down a bit, definitely not back to normal mind you, and with these deals you
can certainly build a great gaming PC at a decent price this week. I would highly recommend you also check out
some of my build videos like the recent $500 gaming PC build that I did because you might
even be able to build it for cheaper. Next up, we gotta talk about these crazy new
Tesla announcements. The first one is the Tesla Roadster which
looks about as baller as it gets AND records a 0-60 time is 1.9 seconds. It’s due to arrive in 2020 and it has a
620 mile range on a single charge which is pretty significant. It also seats 4 people unlike most modern
hyper cars and the base price starts at $200,000. The other sweet vehicle that Elon Musk announced
was the Tesla Semi, which is an all-electric heavy duty semi-truck. The Tesla Semi has a cockpit that looks like
a space shuttle’s and it looks super clean on the outside. The interior looks spacious, comfortable,
and futuristic, but the range is only 500 miles. I would imagine that this poses a serious
problem for truck drivers out there so we’ll see how that one goes. Next up there were some big announcements
from the recent TwitchCon, one of them being Twitch Achievements. Twitch will start to roll out streamer achievements
which allow you to basically see your progress in becoming a Twitch partner, as some of them
are things like reach 10 average views, have 50 viewers at the same time, and things like
that. Twitch also announced some other features
like Stream Summary and Twitch Extensions which will also help their dominating platform
grow. To kick off the PC gaming news, Destiny 2’s
Iron Banner event is going on this week, and for us PC gamers, this is our first opportunity
at this event. Iron Banner is a week long PVP event where
your gear actually matters and makes a huge difference. Normally in PVP everyone’s gear kinda averages
out to the same, but for this week only you’ll see a significant amount of power difference
in those with and without gear. I’m personally not really looking forward
to this because I’m still only at like light level 220, but I thought I should keep you
guys updated. Next up the Golden Joystick wrapped up and
there were a ton of developers and games that receieved awards, obviously. I just wanted to quickly touch up on some
of the notable PC games however. The best Visual Design went to Cuphead, the
Best Indie Game went to Friday the 13th: The Game, the best ESports game was Overwatch,
and finally the Best Multiplayer Game of the year went to, as you can probably guess, PlayerUnknown’s
Battlegrounds. Ugh. Next up, that weird double hero MOBA game
Master X Master has announced that they are completely shutting down on January 1st. NCSoft says that they failed to connect with
gamers and they just don’t have enough popularity to continue with the project. I actually reviewed this game on my Gaming
on a Sunday Morning series and this was the only MOBA game that I’ve ever played on
the channel. Kind of a bummer. And finally one more quick thing before wrapping
up this video, the new Wolfenstein 2 now has a playable demo on Steam and it’ll grant
you access to the entire first level of the game. We love when games do this and I certainly
hope more games will get back into demos, so make sure you check this one out if you’re
interested. Well that wraps up Weekly Download episode
number 71. Make sure you guys let me know in the comment
section what your favorite tech or PC gaming news was this week, or if I missed anything. Once again, I hope you all have an amazing
Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving weekend. Well I hope you guys enjoyed this video, please
