CHRISTMAS SPECIAL 2017 – The Ballinger Family!

– This is totally like
the best Christmas present I’ve ever had. It’s so amazing. (jingle bells) ♪ It’s Vlogmas, Vlogmas ♪ ♪ And it’s time to celebrate ♪ ♪ Vlogmas ♪ (peaceful classical music) ♪ It’s Christmas, it’s Christmas ♪ ♪ It’s Christmas, it’s Christmas ♪ ♪ And it’s time to celebrate ♪ ♪ Christmas! ♪ (gasping and squealing) Dear Bailey, Jacob, and Duncan, thank you. Jacob, Parker, and Duncan. Thank you so much for the yummy cookies. I loved the decorations,
although I was so fainted after taking a big bite of Parker’s. I hope you enjoy your
presents, but always remember that the greatest gift
of all is Jesus Christ, coming to save us all from our sins. Merry Christmas, Santa. – [Daddy] It’s your first Christmas. Are you happy? Are you gonna clap? Yay, Christmas! Can you clap about Christmas? (gasps) Yay, clapping. Are you ready for opening presents? Yeah? Look, Duncan, look. Who’s that? – Dada. – Duncan, yeah, Duncan. – [Bailey] He said dada. – He said Duncan. In our family, Santa brings
each of the kids one gift when they have been nice all year, and the kids have always
been nice all year, so they always get a gift
from Santa. (chuckles) – [Parker] Here, Duncan. – [Daddy] Look what Santa
brought you, Duncan. – [Jacob] Here, I’ll help you. – Duncan, pull this. And then, you rip the top off. – [Daddy] Open it up. What did Santa get you? What is that? – [Bailey] It’s good for
the drumming technique. – Rip this. Like that. – [Bailey] Oh, yeah. – [Daddy] Good boy. (kids gasp) Good boy. Good boy, okay now, do it again. (family exclaims) Oh, is that exciting? Did you get some wrapping paper? You did; you got wrapping paper. Here’s some more. Here’s some more. (Duncan fusses) Uh-oh, you took away his toy. (paper tears) Oh, rage unwrapping. each other, so it’s like, I think the math on
that is like 30 already. Like, that’s the base amount. And underneath our tree are gifts that we got from the
extended family as well, because they’re coming over for our cookie party later today, and we’re gonna do a gift
exchange for them too. We have our designated present elf. (dramatic music) (Mommy chuckles) Jacob’s gonna be handing
out gifts for a little bit. All right, Jakie. (dramatic music) First up is Bailey. Find a Bailey gift. – [Daddy] Who’s this one from? – From Jake. – [Daddy] From Jacob. to get this for Jacob.” – Every year, I have always
put the kids’ pictures on their presents, and this
year I did not get it together in time to do that, so I’m
kinda throwing the kids off by not having that there, and you guys should check that out. So look at one of our old Christmas vlogs and see those pictures
that I do every year, because they’re so cool, and
I really love doing them, and I just didn’t. Ooooh. – This from Mommy and Daddy? – [Mommy] Yes, Bailey, I wrapped that one. Show Daddy; he’ll be impressed. Show him the top. I covered it up with ribbon. (laughs) – [Daddy] Good job. That’s a sly move, Mommy. So you ran out of wrapping paper? – [Mommy] Yeah, I cut it too short. The reign of Cthulhu. – [Mommy] Cthulhu. – [Daddy] Ka-thu, Ka-thu-learly. – Bailey, that’s incredible. Thank you so much. – Bailey, you tricked me. – [Daddy] Whoa, an ice cream truck. – Bailey tricked me. – [Daddy] She tricked you? How? – Because I thought it
was the ice cream truck, and then she said, “I
gave the ice cream truck “to somebody else,” and then she said, and then it’s my present,
and then I opened it, and it was this ice cream
truck that I was waiting for this whole Christmas. Thank you, Bailey. – You’re welcome. (gasps) A defuser. I need this for my room. Thank you. This makes it smell really good, and it’s really nice for your room, and it’s like a humidifier because it also helps you with, like, if there’s

you need to tape name tags to your face again, now you can. In style. – [Mommy] These are beautiful,
Bailey, thank you so much. – I’m super excited about this. I got this for you. They’re night goggles You can, like, see in the dark and stuff. And there’s like lasers
and really cool things. – Thank you, Bailey. I need to open this right now. – To Bailey from Parker. – Yeah, this one’s, it’s kind of like. – All right, I’m ready. I’m ready. Whoa. Thank you, Parker. – [Parker] You’re welcome. (paper tearing) – [Mommy] So, you make it. – Oh, it’s sparkly. – [Mommy] Yeah, it’s like a
sparkly craft that you make. It’s supposed to be really fun. – Thank you. (paper tearing) Parker, this is awesome. – Jacob, what’s that? – [Jacob] It’s a baby ape. – We used to have the baby
ape, but we deleted it, so we can use that one
forever if we want to. It’s a baby ape that goes super fast, like the other one we had a long time ago. My turn. (paper tearing) It’s an advent calendar? Is it a chocolate? (paper tearing) – [Daddy] What is it? – It’s a garden play set. – [Daddy] Whoa, that is so cool. I’m gonna tell you what this one does. It scoops up the dirt and
then puts it in our truck or something that you want to dig. – [Daddy] Okay. – But this one, this one is a shovel, and you put it back. And this one scrapes up the grass. It’s called a rake. This one’s called a rake. This one’s kind of like a rake, but I don’t know what it’s called, but it just does this. – [Daddy] Are you excited about doing some gardening with me? – Yeah, I’m gonna do it right now. – Well, let’s open the
rest of our presents first. My turn to open a gift,
and Parker is recording. Thanks, Parker. – [Parker] You’re welcome. – Is this from Bailey? – [Bailey] Uh-huh. – I love the wrapping; look at this thing. – [Bailey] Thank you. – [Parker] Oh, that’s cool. (paper tearing) – [Bailey] I’m so excited. – [Parker] I know what it is already. – [Daddy] Is it a Rubik’s cube? – [Parker] No, stop it, Dad. (Daddy chuckles) – Oooh, it’s a mug. Oh, this is a good mug. (chuckles) Looks like it has a name tag, and it says, “Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. “You drank my coffee. “Prepare to die.” (Parker chuckles) Thank you, baby, I love it. – You’re welcome. – Duncan needed a nap,
so he is taking his nap. – [Bailey] This one’s mine. – Well, it’s a mystery gift. – [Daddy] Well, it’s labeled. – We all got you this. – This is what all Mommy
asked for, for Christmas. – [Daddy] Parker helped
me pick out the style. – [Bailey] I did too. – [Daddy] And Bailey, actually
all the kids helped me pick out the style. – (squeals) I’ve always
wanted these, so pretty. – [Parker] Oh, you wanted those ones? – Oh my goodness, they’re
like Cinderella shoes. They’re so beautiful, fancy ones. – I think they’re like mermaid’s. – Wow, they’re beautiful,
you guys, thank you. Oh, they’re perfect. They fit perfectly. – [Daddy] Cinderella’s
puttin’ on her shoes. They fit perfect. – [Parker] They go with brown hair. – Thanks. I can’t get out. I just cramped my legs. Get this Boppy out of here. – [Daddy] Oooh, fancy lady. – I’ve got to try out my
new shoes for a minute here. Oh yeah, I forgot, Tieks always
squeak like the first day. – [Daddy] The Tiek squeak. – [Mommy] The Tiek squeak. – [Daddy] You like ’em? – Oh, I love them. – [Daddy] Yes. – [Mommy] I love them. – We did good, guys, we
did good, we did good. – They’re the fancy
ones with like patterns that I would never buy for
myself because I like fancy. Thank you. – [Daddy] You’re welcome. This one is from Parker to Jacob. Let’s see it. What’s happening here? (paper tearing) – I picked that out for you. – Thank you, Parker. – You’re welcome. – [Daddy] Hugs might be one of
the best parts of Christmas. It’s the thank you hug. – One to Parker. (paper tearing) – This is my special ornament. Thank you, Mommy and Daddy. – Oh, this is mostly from Parker, then? – [Daddy] Yes, this is all Parker. Parker and Duncan actually
helped me get this. – I got shoes and a giant thing? It’s unreal. Yay! This is awesome. – What is it? – Oh Jacob, you’re gonna love this. – Can I see it? – It peels potatoes. – [Daddy] And that’s not all it does. It’s not gonna take up
that much kitchen space just to peel potatoes. – This isn’t so big. I’ve been watching videos about this for like a couple months. – I love peeling potatoes. – And we just go, we just
chop, chop, chop, chop, chop, and then also we got this. – [Daddy] This plus your pressure cooker is gonna make, like, cooking. – Like Indian food and stuff? – The best. – I’m so excited. So Bailey, this one’s really special. – I’m super excited. (paper tearing) Silky-soft uber-sized Mandolin blankets. I really need these because
it’s really hot at night in California, and these are like, super soft and silky. – Bailey has a boundary metabolism, which means she gets really,
really, really hot and sweaty at night, and she always takes the bamboo. They’re not muslin, they’re
bamboo baby blankets and uses those, especially in summer, and that’s like her main blanket. And they’re pretty big, but
they’re not actually like small child size; they’re
like toddler size. They’re now occasionally making these ones that are this size. So this is like a big deal. This is like a very, very,
very fancy blanket, Bailey, and it’s made of the bamboo that you love, and it’s like walled double
or triple or something, but feel it. It’s amazing. – [Parker] I want to feel it. – I love this. Love it. It’s so comfy. – [Mommy] I think you’re
about to fall right to sleep. – Yeah. – [Mommy] How much did you
sleep last night, Bailey? – Hashtag I’m so faking this. (Mommy laughs) – [Daddy] This is from Jacob. – Oh my goodness, this is perfect. I can use this for all my advent candles. You were afraid I’d drop it? I won’t drop it. – Can I see it? (Mommy and Daddy exclaim) – [Daddy] That was an exciting bow. – Yeah, you’re gonna love this. – Do you know what it is, Bailey? – Yeah, I wrapped it. – Thank you. This is from me. To Bailey. – [Daddy] What is it, Bailey? – It’s a Pokemon deck. – [Daddy] Nice. – Well, 10 cards. – Yeah, 10 cards. I don’t have that, I don’t
have that, I don’t have that, I don’t have that, I don’t
have that, I don’t have that, I don’t have that, I don’t
have that, I don’t have that. I do have this. This is a double of a new one, and– – Oh, I wanted that one. – This one? – Yeah. – [Daddy] So, pretty good
pack then, huh, Bailey? – I don’t have this one. Yeah, everything except for
an energy I have already. – These ones we don’t play with. – But you can never have too
much energy, right, guys? – Whoa. – Wow. – [Daddy] It’s a Himalayan salt lamp. – Is it made of real salt? – [Daddy] Yep. This one’s from Parker. – Whoa, this is such a cool thing. Thank you, buddy. – You’re welcome. It’s for Christmas. – I’m so excited. (gasps) Treat yourself? – There’s one on the back. – Oh my goodness, it
looks like a Froze Toes. – Yeah, it is. And there’s– – You’re a hoot. (chuckles) These are amazing. Parker, thank you. He got me a Treat You with something. That’s amazing. – That’s awesome. – Whoa. It’s golden. – [Daddy] Is that from Jacob? – [Mommy] Jacob, is that from you, buddy? – Yep. – Thank you, Jacob. – [Jacob] It’s just your size. – [Mommy] Wow. – This one came in our PO box. We don’t know what it is at

this so tricky for us. – [Daddy] Because like a challenge? – Yeah. – Oh, Parker’s got it. This is for me. – [Daddy] Oooh, PAW Patrol. – [Mommy] Oooh, I see some tea. Ah, this is amazing;

England from Beth and Amy, so thank you guys so
much for sending us this. This is amazing, Amy and Beth. And we’ll check you out on Twitter. We see your little Twitter handles here. – [Mommy] Whoa Bailey, what’s
that Harry Potter thing? What is that? – It’s a Hufflepuff pin set. – [Daddy] What? Hufflepuff specifically? – Uh-huh. – [Daddy] That is so cool. – Thank you. – Thank you. – Thank you. – [Mommy] Jacob, you got
all the batteries in? Whoa. Stunts. – I’m excited. – [Mommy] Wow. – I’m gonna be playing that a lot. Can I jump it down the stairs? (Mommy laughs) I’m gonna go try that. – [Mommy] No, let’s
open some more presents. (paper tearing) Oh, Jacob. Oh. – I made it upside-down. It says, “I love you.” Christmas tree. – Thank you, Jacob. – You’re welcome. – I’m gonna open this. It’s from Bailey. Bailey’s gonna vlog. Ah, it’s a little Santa stacking doll. This is from you? Oooh. Thank you. These are guitar picks, and they say, Music, Dad Thanks to Being my Anchor, Smile, Best Dad Ever, Super Dad, and a screamer as a dad. That is awesome, Bailey. – [Bailey] Awesome Dad. – Thanks so much for the
awesome guitar picks. It’s exactly what I wanted. From Mommy to me. – Yes. Oh, I love this present. – Mansions of Madness. This looks like an epic board game to me. – [Mommy] It is an epic board game. – Wow. – [Mommy] And it’s supposed
to be kind of like Pandemic. It’s a cooperative game. And it also attaches to an app. It’s like a new edition. The app’s supposed to make
it better for, like, setup or something, like it walks you through. It makes the whole, like,
complicated gaming process easier, apparently. – Awesome, thank you. – [Mommy] It’s a game of
exploration, mystery, and horror for one to five players. – One player? – [Mommy] Yep. – Bailey’s gonna have a blast with this, ’cause she likes playing
games all by herself. – Christopher’s other present,
I actually had him, like, get in store two days ago because
I got him the new, like, crazy iPhone 10 thing, and I was gonna surprise him with it, and then as I was buying
it, I realized that, like, they should set it up for him, ’cause it’ll make his life
easier, so I was like, okay. I’m so bad at keeping
secrets, so I was like, Christopher was on the
other side of the mall, and I called him over, and I was like, Christopher, give me a hand. I was like, “You’re getting an iPhone 10,” and he set it all up at the
store, and he loves it, so. That was his other present. – [Daddy] Thank you, sweetie. – I just didn’t do a
really good job at like, wrapping it and keeping it a secret. – Yeah, Mama. – [Mommy] What? What was that? – Thank you, Dada. (paper tearing) – [Mommy] It’s a game. Fantastic Gymnastics game. (Bailey gasps) – I love those. You can play with those. They’re super fun, and they’re like you get
to make someone’s face. – I know. – Now I’m gonna do my ornament. Yay, thank you so much. It’s a Harry Potter ornament. – [Mommy] Yay. All right Jacob, why
don’t you open the one that’s in the same wrapping paper? Can we see it? – [Bailey] What is it? – Thank you, Mommy. – [Mommy] You’re welcome, my love. That’s a cool ornament. – It’s for your Christmas village. – [Mommy] That was so thoughtful, Parker. – Thank you, Parker. – You’re welcome. – Ooooh. It’s just like Jacob’s,
except it’s a rose. Thank you, Mommy, thank you. – [Mommy] You’re welcome. Yeah, that’s a new kind of
craft I’ve never done before, but it seems really fun. This is the ridiculously giant. I can’t even believe
you’re getting this gift. (giggles) – A computer. (Mommy giggles) What? I have a computer. (Mommy giggles) – Oh my goodness, Bailey. – Will you share the computer with us? (Bailey breathes hard) (Mommy giggles) – [Daddy] She is shaking so hard. – [Mommy] Bailey, look at my eyes. You have been such an
incredibly hardworking writer and typist this year, that I thought this was
the perfect gift for you. You’ve shown me how hard
you’ve been working, and I thought you needed this
so you could write your book, sweetie, okay? – Thank you. – [Mommy] You’re welcome. – [Jacob] It’s a case. (children exclaim) It’s a computer case. – It’s a computer case. It’s beautiful. (Mommy laughs) – [Parker] I am the trash collector. (Mommy giggles) – [Daddy] Are you gonna be okay, baby? Were you expecting that? – No. – [Daddy] No? (Mommy laughs) Bailey, I am really proud of all the writing that
you’ve done this year. Mommy and Daddy wanted to make it easier for you to do your writing, and so, we know you’re gonna be
responsible with this and use it really well. – Thank you. – [Mommy] And I can’t wait
to read your first book that you write on it. – [Daddy] Parker, there’s a
gift for you over there, too. It’s that big one that Jacob’s pushing. – [Mommy] Oh my goodness. (chuckles) – My turn. (paper tearing) – [Bailey] What is it? You’re gonna love it. – [Parker] A trampoline? – [Mommy] What is it, Parker? – A trampoline! (Mommy laughs) – Parker had a trampoline
at our old house, and when we moved, the
trampoline was falling apart, and we couldn’t transport it, so we had to move on from our trampoline, and Parker’s been
showing so much hard work in his gymnastics class,
and I was like, “Wow. “I wonder if it’s because he
used to spend so much time “on his trampoline?” So I felt like we absolutely needed to do that for him again. – Yay, thank you, Mommy and Daddy. – [Mommy] I’ve been so proud
of how hard you’ve been working in gymnastics, and I just think
you’re doing a wonderful job and I’m so happy to see
you up there working hard and doing your best work,
honey, so I can’t wait to see you with the trampoline. – Thank you, Mom. – I love you. – I love you, too. – So Jacob, as you might have guessed, this gift is for Duncan. Just kidding, it’s for you. Just kidding, it’s for you. Also, it’s kind of for me. You got to share with me. – And me. – [Daddy] Okay, and everybody. You’re gonna share it with everybody. Go for it. (paper tearing) It didn’t really make
much of a difference. (paper tearing) (Mommy laughs) – A foosball table. – (giggles) Not just
that, a foosball table. It converts into 10 different games. – This is awesome. Can we set this up? – [Daddy] You want to set it up? – Yeah. – I wasn’t expecting this,
but it is a foosball table. – Oh, Daddy can build it for you. He wanted to, and I said,
“Don’t build it for Jacob. “Jacob’s gonna want to build it himself.” – [Daddy] Is that true? – Sure. Knife? – [Daddy] Knife? What? Think you can build it with a knife? – I’m really excited about this. I would never believe
it if you had told me what you were getting me for Christmas. – Bailey has not stopped
crying happy tears. We’re opening up the computer right now, and it’s very emotional. I never, ever thought that I would be getting
my 10 year old a computer, but I just feel like Bailey
has worked so hard in writing, and she was doing such an incredible job, and I just wanted it for her for school. I know she’s gonna do
incredible things with it, so I’m grateful that we
could get this tool for her. Bailey just created the
name for her computer, and had to shudder and cry a little bit. I love you. – I messed up, ’cause
I’m still not too good at the computer, like the typing, so I wrote Bailey’s Computeer. This is totally like the
best Christmas present I’ve ever had. It’s so amazing. – There have been some developments. Duncan woke up, and he’s all smiles. Cutie. Cutie, did you eat some prunes? You got some prunes on your nose. We built the foosball table so the kids are playing that right now, and they’re having fun. And we’re about to do what? Oh, and look at this. Here we go. Good, oh, whoa. – And we have our first
pavlova in the oven, and you guys who’ve been
watching for a long time know that I make pavlova every year. It’s like my favorite dessert, and highly requested by
our family at this point, and everybody who is in
Australia and in New Zealand always gets really mad at me because I don’t use kiwi on mine, and I figured I’d explain that to you. So, I don’t use kiwi because– – [Bailey] I’m allergic. – Bailey’s allergic,
I’m a little allergic. Like, we’re not technically
allergic, allergic. We have a sensitivity to it, so it really bothers our mouth to eat it. I love kiwi, but it’s
also not really as much of a California fruit. You can get it here, but
what’s more popular, I think, is like strawberries,
so that’s what I put on. We always get some really
delicious strawberries, and it tastes really good. So, I’d love to try kiwi
on a pavlova someday. I know it’s the right way to do it, and if you’ve never had
strawberries on a pavlova, I highly recommend that way as well. – Also, our house smells amazing right now because of that pavlova. – [Mommy] Oh my gosh. (all exclaim) – [Daddy] Jacob, are you so, so happy to have a foosball table? – Yeah. – If you’ve seen some of our older vlogs, Jacob was obsessed with foosball tables, especially at Playlist Live. He was playing everybody. He was encouraging
everybody to play foosball, so this is like a really big deal for him. And for me, ’cause I
also like foosball a lot. I think he gets it from me. Duncan’s just now getting to his presents from when he was at his nap. And this one is from Jacob, and it is a latte teether. – This is so cool, Jakie. – [Daddy] He’ll be just like Daddy. – [Parker] Here, Jacob. – [Daddy] Teething. – Here we go. (paper tearing) (Mommy chuckles) Duncan, a Pop! Winnie
the Pooh, that’s so cute. Baby, look what Jacob got you. (giggles) It’s his special ornament, just like how you guys get
your special ornaments. And it says, “2017,
Baby’s First Christmas.” – [Daddy] That’s you, Duncan. – You’ll have this for your whole life. – [Daddy] That’s your first Christmas. (music box playing) This one makes some noise. – It’s making noise. – Yep, that one’s mine. – Oh, it lights up, too. Whoa. (lullaby music) He loves it. – [Parker] Good. – [Daddy] Good. Good. – Bailey, could you put
this out in the trash and then come back? – [Parker] This is from me, I think. – Parker’s taking the
credit for every present. – [Daddy] That is not from you, Parker. – Oh, yeah. (paper tearing) – Wow. – It’s a toy. – [Jacob] He’s right; it’s a baby toy. – Oh, so what this is Duncan, it’s for his high chair. It’s a toy that goes onto his high chair. What’s in the bag? I know this is different. You finally were catching on. Oh, there you go. – [Daddy] Is this from you, Bailey? – [Mommy] It’s from Bailey,
’cause it has a picture. See? – [Daddy] Oh yeah, little
baby Duncan right there. – Oh, Bailey. – [Daddy] Oh, look at
that little stocking. – [Parker] Oh, what is it? – [Daddy] Oh, it’s shakey. – [Mommy] Jacob, look at Duncan. – [Daddy] That coffee makes you shakey. – [Mommy] He’s gonna
hit us all in the head. – [Daddy] Mistletoe. – He’s giving the biggest smile. – [Daddy] Baby kisses under the mistletoe. – It’s my stocking. – [Daddy] That stocking is huge. You could fit a whole Parker in it. Oooh, you know what that is? A survival kit. – [Mommy] It says Survival Kit on it. – [Daddy] Oooh, a Mickey craft. – It’s a little Playmobile veterinarian. This is so much fun. I can’t wait to play with this. – [Daddy] A magic ink Mickey book. – And this is a little sparkles kit. – Oooh, it’s a model airplane and tickets. – [Bailey] Can you share
some of them with me? – What? What? – [Mommy] Just ’cause you guys
are obsessed with tickets. You’re always, like, making
tickets to play with. – Oh. – [Mommy] So you can have tickets. – It’s a Harry Potter golden Snitch model. – [Daddy] An elf leg? (Mommy giggles) – This? – [Daddy] What is that? What is that? You know what that is? – No. – [Daddy] Those are your new pets. – [Mommy] Those are sea monkeys. – I’ve got pets? – [Mommy] Sea monkeys. – I got sea monkeys, too. – This? Oh, that’s the other. – [Daddy] That’s the rest of your elf. – A carabiner. – Oh, that’s cool. – Two. – Candy cane. It’s enormous. It broke a little bit. – [Bailey] Can you share? – Mine never cracked. – This is a beautiful candy cane. It’s peppermint flavored. That’s my favorite. – [Mommy] That’s your own film. – I’ve got to film myself? – [Mommy] No, that’s for– – [Daddy] It’s for your
Polaroid, Polaroid camera. – Oh. – [Mommy] It’ll take 20 pictures. – What? Another one. – It’s a book light. – Oooh, a Hufflepuff. I mean, a Hogwarts hairbow. A Hufflepuff hairbow. – This. – [Mommy] Gardening gloves. – Oh, I thought they were socks. – Gardening gloves. – [Daddy] Wow, they got
some padding on the knuckles and everything. What are you gonna use those for, Jacob? – [Bailey] Riding your toy motorcycle? (family chuckles) – [Daddy] Just clenching your hand? Just for effect. – Thank you, everyone. – I got blue raspberry candy. – Merry Christmas. – Rachel is not here
because she’s horribly sick, which is so sad, and she
didn’t even get my sick. She had a cold. – She’s like flu, hardcore
vomiting all over my house sick. Really, really sick. – And she had a cold last
week, so that’s such a bummer, to have like, bam, bam, both. – I know. – And Stephanie is sick, so we
Ballingers are falling apart. – Ballingers are falling apart. – And then my mom is here. – Hi, Merry Christmas. – Merry Christmas. And my mom is here. Merry Christmas. Andy’s here. – Foosballinator. – [Mommy] And my dad. Look at my dad’s outfit. – Hello. – [Mommy] We’ll get you later. Trent’s here. Have you had a good Christmas so far? – Yes. – [Mommy] Did you go to Coynes? – Yes, I did. – Fun, but I missed you, bud. Glad you’re here. Thank you for coming. And you’re here. – I’m here. (giggles) – Yes, he’s my child. – [Daddy] Look what you just got. – Chris is gonna put ’em on. You put these in your ears. – [Mommy] What? – Um, no. No. Didn’t sign up for that one. This is from Grandma and Grandpa. – [Mommy] Oh, for Jacob. – [Woman] How do they look on me, Bailey? – [Daddy] What is it? – A baseball. – [Daddy] Baseballs? Oh my goodness. So awesome. – I got a gift from
Bailey, Jacob, and Parker. – [Daddy] Whoa. – I already know what it is. – I guess who wrapped this. – [Jacob] I did. – Nice job. – [Bailey] Me and Jacob wrapped those. – Jacob? Did I drop something? Oh, I didn’t. It’s my eyes don’t see what that is. What is that, sweetie? – [Jacob] It says “Merry
Christmas,” Grandma. – [Man] Oooh, that’s a
little tile that she made. – Awww. – [Man] ‘Cause we know how you like Jenga. – That’s so cute. – [Daddy] Oooh, that’s cool. Looks like it’s an air-powered car. – Really? – [Daddy] Yeah. Oh, okay. Air Racers from Uncle Trent. What is that? Oooh, Pokemon cards. – It’s to Mommy from Uncle Trent. – [Mommy] Oh, he’s not
done; he’s got more stuff. What is that? – [Daddy] Rope? You got rope? Nice. This is from Grandma and Grandpa. Let’s see it. Oooh. There you go. Are you gonna trade out the mistletoe? (jingling music) – [Woman] I love it. – [Mommy] Good job, Bailey, put it on. – [Man] Oh, you’ve got a hat. – [Mommy] And if you push
it again, it’ll stop. – [Woman] Why would you ever
pick something like that? – [Mommy] It’s shaking. (family chuckles) – More gifts? It’s crazy. Thank you. Oh, looks like a game. Say Anything, nice. – Do you have that one? – [Man] You don’t have that game? – I don’t think so. I never played it. – [Man] I heard it’s a
really fun family game. – Thank you. – [Daddy] This one’s from Auntie Panties. – [Mommy] Oh my goodness. – [Daddy] Oh my goodness. – [Mommy] What is it? – It’s an American Girl doll. – [Mommy] Oh, wow. Oh my goodness. Do you know which one it is? – It’s Tenney. – [Mommy] She’s cute. – She looks just like me. She’s got my brown eyes
and my blonde hair. – She does look like you. (family chatters together at once) She looks exactly like you. Is this thing gonna make us hot? – No, it’s slurpy bad. You guys have to do slurpy
slip-n-slide with Miranda. (kids cheer) There’s more at home. I didn’t wrap them up. I got them for you. – The gift I’m going to love. – I know, this is Best
Gift Ever for you to have. – This smells like makeup. – It is. – Yeah. (whistles shrilly) Oh my goodness, Bailey. – This is from my mom and dad. – [Grandma] What every son wants. – And I actually can’t
really move it, they told me. – [Mommy] Is it rocks? – [Daddy] It’s rocks. – [Grandma] It’s a lump of coal. – [Daddy] Oh, this is good, Happy Frog. It’s manure, yes. Oooh. Nice one. (Mommy giggles) – [Mommy] You know what it is? – Oh, it’s just what I
wanted for Christmas. – [Bailey] It’s a walking dog. – It walks and it talks. (dog barks) – Thank you. – You’re welcome. (dog barks) – [Daddy] What did you just get? Oh my goodness. Does that work? Is that real? – Yeah. – [Mommy] It was on his list. – [Daddy] That’s awesome. – Yay, oh my god. Thank you. This was sold out on Amazon. – [Daddy] Yes, it was sold out everywhere. – I couldn’t find it anywhere, ’cause I was gonna buy
one before Christmas so I could make pasta. How did you get this? – [Daddy] We bought them all
so that you couldn’t buy it before Christmas. – No, seriously, I tried
to find this everywhere. – Yeah, we know, look at
all these crazy desserts my family brought over. Dark chocolate reindeer cookies, gluten-free peanut butter
cookies, also reindeer, snowflake cupcakes, almost candy bars. I think that’s what these are called. Julie made the best salmon that ever was in the entire universe. This is peanut butter,
butterscotch, fudge sandwiches. This is gooey triple chocolate brownies. These are Coleen’s oatmeal
chocolate chip cookies. Brooklyn, what are these? Santa hats? – Rice Krispie Santa hats. – Rice Krispie Santa hats. Jessica made these. Chocolate cupcakes. These are my mom’s cookies. These are the cookies that I grew up on. And Jessica made pavlova. It is 11:30; Christmas is
pretty much officially over. I don’t know. It was kind of a weird end to Christmas because Christmas was really great. I felt like our kids were super
appreciative and wonderful and really liked what we got for them, and just the giving and the
receiving and everything was just really, really great this year. We had this cookie party, which is normally at my mom’s house, so this is the first
year it was at our house, so we were really excited
about it, ready to host and just have a really successful event. Right away, people were like, “There is the flu going around.” Half the people that
were supposed to be here, Rachel and Stephanie and my Aunt Mittsie, they all got the flu and couldn’t come. They were like throwing up and stuff, and then while Andrew was here, he got super sick and had to leave, and then Colleen started feeling sick, so my whole family kind of left, so we have a whole bunch of desserts, which I’m excited about,
but the party as a whole just kind of felt like there
was this cloud over it, which is a little unfortunate. I think what we’ll have to do is we’ll have to go figure out a way of doing Christmas again. We like Christmas. It’s the holiday that our
family really clings to and like, goes all out for. So, I think everybody will be on board, but we’re gonna find a
time to do a similar party some other time when
everyone’s feeling well and just have a really good time. I’m not saying that we,
like our immediate family, didn’t have a good time. We did. We talked with people and spent
time with family and friends but it was kind of sad knowing
there were other people in our family like Rachel
and Stephanie and Andrew who were not here and
not having a great time, and so it was kind of hard, ’cause our hearts were with them. Anyway, I hope they get better soon, and I thank you for joining us today and seeing our Christmas,
which was awesome. (Duncan giggles) (cacophony of voices) How do you feel about this? – Definitely an experience,
and I’m glad we’re having it. It’s not for me, but I’m
glad we’re having it. – Jessica’s a vegetarian.
