DIY Paper wicker Christmas tree (ENG Subtitles) – Speed up #44

Hi. Today I will show you
how to make Christmas tree made from paper wicker. We need: …styrofoam cone… …newspaper… …wooden skewer… …craft glue… …scissors… …and glue gun. Cut a strip from newspaper. If you want to have clean wicker, then your paper strip must have white edge. Place wooden skewer on newspaper.
Roll up the newspaper. When toothpick is almost covered, slide it out a little and continue rolling. Secure the end of strip by using glue. The paper wicker tube is ready.
1 christmas tree=around 50 paper wicker tubes
(It’s depends on the size of cone). Cross 3 tubes together. Place the cone at the center. Take another tube and glue it to the one of crossed tubes. Fold it and place above another. Do it again with other tubes. Tubes must touch the cone. When the tube is too short, insert new tube into the end of it. Repeat this to the tip of cone. Cover entire top. Cut off an excess of tubes. But leave around 1 cm of each tube. Glue the ends to the tip. Cut the tubes which are under the cone.
Remove the cone. Cut off an excess of tubes.
Glue the tubes to the tree. Use your imagination to decorate your Christmas tree. I paint my tree by using a gold spray.
I put a ribbon star on the top. And I glue some beads (they look like little Christmas balls). Please give a like to this video

Thanks for watching! Bye bye.
