How to Make a Christmas Tree Braid πŸŽ„ Style Files Hair Tutorial | Sunny Day | Nick Jr.

It’s time to get styling
with Sunny Day Style Files. Hi, it’s me, Sunny,
wanna take a look inside the Style Files. You’ll need a brush, a teasing comb,
hair elastics, hair pins and some cute
Christmas colored decorations. [music playing] Ready for your Christmas braid?
Great! Brush your hair,
we don’t want any tangles! Oh, and this style works best
on damp hair. Using the tail of a teasing comb, part your hair across your head
from ear to ear and use a hair elastic
to create a pony tail. Hold it or clip it forward
to keep that hair out of your way. Take the remaining hair,
make a second pony tail and secure with an elastic. Use the teasing comb to divide
the top pony tail into two sections. A top and bottom. Take the top section
and divide it into two pieces. Then pull the bottom section up
and in between those pieces. Hold or clip it forward
and out of your way. Now take a hair elastic
and tie the outside pieces together. Once you do that,
release the top section. Now repeat. Take the top section,
divide it into two pieces. Then pull the lower section
up and through, holding it or clipping it
out of your way. Then take a hair elastic
and tie the outside pieces together. Now release the top section. Gently pull on the edges, these will be the top branches
of your Christmas tree. Keep going and remember
to tug the edges of each braid so your Christmas tree branches
get wider as you go. When you get to the bottom of your tree, wrap any lose sections of hair
around your lower pony tail. Pin it in place. Wow, that really does look like a tree! For a festive touch,
you can add ornaments to your tree by attaching bobby pins to pom poms
then pinning them in place! You can even use a pipe cleaner
to create a star! Wow, that’s beautiful! You are totally ready for the holidays! – You look awesome, no, you do!
– You look awesome, no, you do! The Christmas Braid,
that’s one for the Style Files! Keep smiling, keep styling! [laughing] Get styling with Sunny Day. Weekdays on Nickelodeon. You can watch more Sunny Day
