How to Make a Santa Claus Costume : How to Add Glasses to a Santa Costume

Hello! My name is Matt Cail and on behalf
of Expert Village, I’m going to show you today how to do a traditional Santa Claus costume
as well as some edgy alternatives. How can Santa Claus read those very, very long list
of good and bad children without the use of some glasses. After the first 100 years, I
think he developed some serious bad far sightedness. Your Santa Claus is going to need some nice
holiday spectacles. Again, you can get these at a lot of costume stores. You may have a
great pair of spectacles lying around the house, which maybe even aren’t prescription.
That’s great. Put them on. Preferably, they’ll be a little bit of gold rimmed on the edges.
That’s better than say having some thing a little too snazzy or wood. We’re going to
put this on our Santa Claus costume. You put them on like you do any pair of glasses. Gently
over the bridge of the nose, up over the ears. Now, you’re going to really need to be careful
here because you’re going to want to make sure that these glasses are not prescription.
If they’re prescription and they’re not yours, that’s a dangerous situation. You can easily
misstep and fall. That would just be bad. Make sure that these are normal glasses and
not prescription, not anybody else’s prescription except for yours. That’s going to be okay
for your Santa Claus glasses. Outside of that, be careful not obstruct your Santa Claus’s
vision anymore than now. You have a lot of hair going on here. Now you have some glasses
on, you’ve got a beard underneath here. Keep the rest of this field of vision clear of
any other implements or nay other decorations. You basically at this point have done enough
to your Santa Claus face.
