  1. I grew up with sesame street and it's still one of my all time favs!! Cookie Monster, Ernie, and Big Bird are the best

  2. Eminem should have made an appearance in this to say " this episode brought to you by the letter m because I wanna murder these f'n Muppets"

  3. Okay Black Thought and Jimmy Fallon you got me singing out loud at work now they all know whether to write me up because I was listening on my phone o r 302 me because I'm singing sesame Street song

  4. Fun fact: Kermit the Frog used to be a Sesame Street character until he "retired" how come it does not feature in the name rap?

  5. Happy 50th anniversary to Sesame Street I can't believe it's been that long I used to watch it as a kid what a legendary show it is and may the Soul and Spirit of Carroll and Jim forever rest in peace without them the show wouldn't be as legendary as it is today thank you to the both of them rest easy ????/????

  6. THEY MADE A GROUCHLAND REFERENCE! I'M GONNA CRY!!!! Man, I'm 20 years old, but I swear I'll watch Sesame Street at any chance I get.

  7. That was awesome happy 50th. I’m guessing Leslie was the bus driver considering no Abby & she can fly there anyway. Lol

  8. Jim Henson started Sesame Street. Not only that, he also have Fraggle Rock, Muppet Show and Muppet Babies. He also produced some of todays puppeteers like Frank Oz (voice of Grover, Cookie Monster, Bert, Animal, Miss Piggy, Fozzy Bear, Sam Eagle and Jedi Master Yoda).

  9. There isn't a lot of shows that almost every generation can say they grew up watching them. Jim and Caroll created something incredibly special

  10. I feel like Sesame Street And the Muppets as great as those shows were, these shows are going to overstay their welcome. And with some of the original actors and actresses having either passed away or retired and left the show. Don't you guys think it's time to leave Sesame Street if you know what i mean? Same with the Muppets. No more Muppet related ads or anything else. They should end these shows with one more movie.

  11. Most of the muppet characters that were on Sesame Street have retired. Especially that disgusting salesman who tries to sell you a vowel.

  12. Love this! At age 46, I still sing this song to comfort myself everytime I have an atonic seizure (loss of feeling in legs, while conscious), bcuz by the time I'm done it's over?❤️

  13. It doesn’t matter what age you are Sesame Street is for everybody. And also their theme song is timeless. #ForeverInOurHearts

  14. I loved this! I was 11 when SS began, but I loved watching it. Elmo is my absolute favorite! I do a perfect impression of him for my 3 small grandchildren. Elmo makes my heart smile!

  15. R.I.P Carol Spinney aka the puppeteer of Oscar and Big Bird. You will dearly be missed. Thank you for the Sesame Street memories, songs and friends that you met along the way. ??

  16. What’s wrong with Elmo in grouch land it’s the only thing Sesame Street that we can actually see the inside of Oscar’s trash can

  17. Tell the sesame street crew for me congratulations on their 50 years of bringing children the smile & joy. I remembered when I was young, they made me feel happy & brought me laughter. But now I'm all grown up ? & sadly I had to live life, so I kinda understand how Oscar the Grouch feels from time to time. But I still remember my good times when I watch them, so again, thank you, congratulations, & keep up the good work.

  18. As a child of the 80s, I grew up watching Sesame Street daily, and even now, I occasionally find myself knowing something from having learned it by watching. Several of the songs and skits are still deeply entrenched in my memory. There's a generation of kids who are too stuck in their tablets and tech toys……and are missing out on this absolute gem. RIP Jim Henson and Carroll Spinney. Without them, this beautiful world would not be. ????
